HOSTEL FACILITY FOR GIRLS
The college has got well furnished hostel for girls with a capacity to accommodate 63 students. Hostel has been made functional from the session 2010-11. It has all the facilities such as spacious hostel rooms with required furniture, dining room, common room with T.V. and Dish facility, clean water with aqua guard and other amenities to make the living experience very much conducive to studies. Newspaper and Magazines are also available for the hostlers. The following rules have been framed in relation to admission and the conduct of hostel residents:
- A student can apply for hostel accommodation, after she is admitted in the college.
- Admission forms for hostel accommodation are available in the college office.
- Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will be given preference in allotment.
- The recommendation of warden is necessary for admission to the hostel.
- The residents of the hostel are not permitted to change the room allotted to them without prior permission of the warden.
- Fresh admission to the hostel will have to be sought in every academic year.
- Every boarder shall have to abide by time–schedule as laid down from time to time.
- No guest can stay in the hostel.
- The general discipline requirement of the college shall be applicable to boarder as well.
- Any other rules and regulations as may be deemed necessary by the principal according to the circumstances are to be observed by the resident scholars.
- Hostel students will not indulge in any act that may come under the definition of ragging; they will not participate in or abet ragging in any form. Action under the Ragging Act shall be initiated against anyone found guilty of involvement in acts included in the definition of ragging.
- Smoking, use of tobacco products and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited. Any violation will entail a fine of Rs. 200/- and
- suspension/ expulsion from the hostel.
